Illocutionary speech acts have a communicative function between the speaker and the interlocutor, so it is through this speech act that it can be known the message contained in the song lyrics delivered by Muhammad sincerely Rusdi to music lovers. The language style that is widely used in Tulus' Monokrom albums is affirmative language style, namely apheresis. Satire language style which includes cynicism (1 data). Repetition language style which includes anaphora (8 data), alliteration (1 data).
Contradictory language style which includes paradox (2 data). Affirmation language style which includes asidenton (6 data), polysidenton (4 data), inversion (2 data), assonance (1 data), erothesis (2 data), apheresis (38 data). The data analysis technique in this study consisted of five stages, namely identifying data, data classification, data analysis, data description, and data interpretation.Based on the results of the study, it was found that there were 13 styles of language, namely comparative language styles which included personification (6 data), hyperbole (9 data), synesthesia (2 data). The data collection technique in this research is using the listening technique and the note-taking technique. The data source is obtained from the text of the song lyrics in the Monokrom albums by Tulus. This research use desciptive qualitative approach.
This study aims to describe the style of language in the lyrics of the albums Monokrom by Tulus and its relationship to Indonesian language learning in high school.
